Generally you MUST bring a copy, of your State ID along with any and all current and recently issued insurance cards. If possible a copy of any recent bloodwork and lab results is also recommended.

Endoscopies typically do not require prep, the only requirement is that the patient should not eat or drink anything after 12 AM the night before the procedure.

Colonoscopies typically require several days of prep depending on the prep medication prescribed:
PEG-3350 Gallon (Golytely): This gallon must be taken the day before the procedure, between 5-9 PM. It must be finished in its entirety. It is normal for patient to feel the need to pass stool several times over the following hours as this is a necessary step toward insuring bowel preperation
Mirallax: 14 capfuls of mirallax laxative powder, must be mixed into two 32 oz Gatorade bottles, 7 capfuls each. Patient needs to drink all 64oz of gatorade between 5-9PM the day before the procedure.
Dulcolax 5 mg tablets: These are generally prescribed for each colonoscopy regardless of which of the two above mentioned medications is prescribed to the patient. Two tablets need to be taken everyday up to 14 days before with four needing to be taken the day before the procedure depending on patient diet.

The patient needs to stop eating and drinking after 12AM the night before the scan. Any morning medications may be taken, directly after the scan with water available at the office if needed. All Fibroscan appointments are typically scheduled between 8-10 AM.

Office Visits: Patients need to arrive to all office visits 15 min early to ensure that all information is taken, and appointment is completed in a timely manner.
Procedures: Patients must arrive at designated hospital for all procedures 2 hours early than the procedure time in order to have enough time to get prepped in a timely manner.
